Cruising Together: Royal Caribbean Explorer of The Seas
Arriving at the dock on Sydney Harbour, I was astounded by the size of the ship and couldn’t wait to get on board and see what this new holiday transportation mode had to offer. Needless to say, I was not disappointed!
Boasting 15 decks, 10 pools and 15 bars, Lounges, and clubs, this ship had so much to offer, I was overwhelmed with choice! Add an ice-skating rink, karaoke, stage shows, art auctions, gym classes, beauty treatments, and delicious food prepared around the clock, it’s easy to forget to take in the sights of the never-ending blue ocean.
I loved that being both my transportation and accommodation meant I could completely unwind, unpack my belongings, and relax while I was taken to the door step of each picturesque destination.
One of my favourite parts of the trip was the endless ship activities and events gave me a chance to bring out parts of my wardrobe I rarely get to!
Royal Caribbean staged several formal dinner nights where my Karen Millen dress and jumpsuits came out to play, and my head-to-toe nautical stripes perfectly suited the oceanic scenery from my room balcony.
Pair that with the brilliant service, delicious food and our fabulous ocean view room complete with a balcony, and it quickly became a perfect holiday!
We visited stunning South Pacific Islands; Noumea, New Caledonia where I spent the day snorkeling on Duck Island, Mystery Island, Vanuatu and Mare, New Caledonia.
I absolutely loved this experience and highly recommend cruising as an easy and relaxing holiday!
